Enable critical thinking, increase your awareness and reduce climate anxiety with this years unpacked events. Join a panel of experts as we watch and unpack a popular documentary or film so you can leave the space with answered questions and less climate guilt.
Bike Grabs | Te Tatako Paihikara
Bikes are reclaimed from landfill and fixed up – these pre-loved bikes are available to staff and students for a small koha (donation) that goes back to the amazing team at Student Youth Development.
Break Bites | Tāka Kai
A wholesome vibe on short breaks to get you away from a screen and out in nature. These events are perfect to refill your cup & meet new mates along the way.
Drop & Shop For Good
Making the flat setup and pack up a goodie. This event ensures you have a sustainable option at the end of the year to get rid of your things and an affordable option at the beginning of the year to set up your flat!
Te Oraka Social Club Events
Te Oraka Social Club is community of like-minded people who want to do good for themselves, their mates and Papatūānuku (Mother Earth). Because change can start with thrifting but continues through making, repairing, creating, connecting and eating!

Agency Festival
On a Friday and Saturday in 2022 we gathered community and creatively energised tāngata to share their stories of leadership and impact of difference. With 250 cute butts on seats across the festival, you bet your bottom dollar there was challenge, nourishment, un-learning, re-learning, and power!

Planet D Drag Show
Our first drag and burlesque show on campus. Were we added some spice to the United Nations' global goals in celebration of diversity!
We wanted to show all angles of sustainability and how it applies to equity in our communities. We are all about finding ways to promote good health and well-being, gender equality and reduced inequalities.
Super Swap Saturdays
A selection of Saturday’s through 2023 that provided the chance for students to bring down clothing filling up their wardrobe with items they don’t grab for anymore.
